Storage & Produce Care Tips
Our vegetables are fresh and seasonal, and proper storage will help them stay at their best. Storage guidance varies by vegetable and is outlined below.
General storage tips
- Store vegetables in a cool, dry place or the refrigerator where appropriate
- Keep produce away from direct sunlight and heat
- Remove vegetables from packaging if condensation is present
Carrots & parsnips
- Best stored in the refrigerator
- Keep in a sealed container or bag to retain moisture
- Remove leafy tops if present to extend freshness
Potatoes
- Store in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place
- Do not refrigerate
- Keep away from onions and direct light
For households and small restaurants
We recommend checking produce on arrival and rotating stock so older items are used first. Fresh vegetables are best enjoyed promptly, but correct storage will help extend shelf life.
